Again I am not asking for it to be automatically detected, I know it
is hard. But if you can't, leave an explicit import menu item for
those "hard" cases. I think you can remove dead code, but as long as
we have people playing at FIBS this is not such a case.

You're mostly right, the problem I think was that the fibs file format is so
open it can just be normal text (for comments), so it is difficult to
distinguish from a text file.  Maybe I just had an odd example.
