Hi again,

on a notebook with ati radeon mobility (using the xorg driver) I get the
following compiling error with a SuSE-10.2 when using
"--enable-board3d":

/usr/lib/gcc/i586-suse-linux/4.1.2/../../../../i586-suse-linux/bin/ld:
cannot find -lGL

I'm confused:

a) this is a linking error detected during compilation. So the glxinfo
is uneeded.
b) 3d support is compiled in if --without-board3d isn't given and
gtkglext is detected.

could you tell me

where GL.so.1 is located on your system
the line from the configure output informing about GTKGLEXT
the lines in Makefile beginning with GTKGLEXT

Christian.
