'tool' directory.
If we move these files away, we should decide on what to do with their
dependencies. Perhaps it would be natural to move them in to lib and
build a new separate library there.
Yes, long term plan.... This has been discussed some years ago as well.
Dmitri even posted a suggested directory structure. I'm not sure if
there is a GNU standard/recommended structure. I beleve I found such
once, but don't remember where of course.
Or perhaps we should use a glib/gtk/(gnome?) structure should such a
thing exist?
