I see the problem with the licence. It is a problem.

I see. I believe this is much better.

Hmmm... Can we make int independent of Bitstream Vera as well? Since
this code is used only in render.c and only make a simple font on the
board while having the GTK interface, I believe pango must be available?
Can we use pango to get the font?

(And as someone just said here, lib art just to make some simple arrows
on the boards, should be done with cairo.... this doesn't have the
licence problem though.)

Thanks for the patch, I'll take a look at it in some days. I'm in the
middle of some exams these days. Maybe someone else can comment on these
as well?
