I'm afraid that won't work. You must name the file gnubg_os.bd and keep it in
the same directory as gnubg.exe. If you haven't got room on your C: drive,
you'd better re-install it on your large partition.

Sconyer's database is a separate product that must be bought. Changing these
settings will have no effect for you.

Select Analyse...Evaluation Engine (or, from the command line, type "show

database installed.
* On disk 1-sided bearoff database evaluator:
- generated by GNU Backgammon

- database includes gammon distributions
- number of reads: 0
* In memory 1-sided bearoff database evaluator:
- generated by GNU Backgammon
- up to 15 chequers on 6 points (54264 positions) per player
- database includes gammon distributions
- number of reads: 0
* In memory 2-sided bearoff database evaluator:
- generated by GNU Backgammon
- up to 6 chequers on 6 points (924 positions) per player
- database includes both cubeful and cubeless equities
- number of reads: 0
