-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Nice info! I'm also interested in how different compilers do. I believe Intel compiler makes really efficient code. Another question I ask myself is: "What if the neural net evaluation was written in assembler? Would that help?" I can tell you the reason why blas/atlas doesn't improve anything. It simply doesn't improve from the EvaluateFromBase. EvaluateFromBase is much much faster because a lot of the inputs are zero. - -Øystein -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.4 (MingW32) Comment: Using GnuPG with Thunderbird - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFCG15S6kDTFPhwyqYRAt54AJ9azrAJEtwHRMdK6+2iWkm29aS8twCdEtcN 56igywYYrDtw4fIxlS1mEP8= =o6o7 -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
