I've got it all compiling now, and the calibration figures are slower.
I've increased the poll time x4 and now get similar figures.

I wonder if someone (Ian?) could have a go and time a rollout / game
analysis (the screen update/response might be slower when it's rolling
out too).  Here's the files just pop them in a new directory and with a
bit of luck it should work:

It's just under 10mb, this is very much a test build and I'll probably
delete it in the next day or two.  I compiled with everything set so the
new database stuff should work as well (the only dodgy area seemed to be
libintl - I've not included the gtk-locale strings in the download either).
