Hi,

My name is Tim Line and I play on the MSN zone under the nic BIG_Rallyline. - BIG Stands for Backgammon International Group which is an 'invite only group' of about 200 members.

Many of us have used GNU Backgammon to help us improve our game for quite some time now, but many found it difficult to use to analyse matches.  Subsequently those of us who did use it - were constantly being asked "How?"

In partnership with a team mate of mine Enrique (who also plays on MSN Zone under nic of BIG_buddie) we produced a GNU Backgammon tutorial - meant as a 'one stop shop' to help members of BIG to use your fantastic program and at the same time - save us time explaining to many people.

Enrique wrote the tutorial and I edited it and created the website.  I also created a GNU Backgammon Forum - which has sadly had little interest so far.

The tutorial has been very successful and is fast reaching 1000 visits.  There have been requests to make it more available and so we are currently in the process of updating the tutorial (to reflect the recent changes in version 0.14.)   and are getting it moved to a new domain name (It is currently hosted on my free space that came with my dial-up account!)

We would be very happy if you were to consider publishing a link to this from your website.

We would also to be very happy to hear any comments that you might have or any additions that we should add.

Either way - we would be grateful to hear any feedback.

I sent this message yesterday - but forgot to actually include the link to the site - For those interested - here it is:  http://homepage.ntlworld.com/t.line/gnu/buddie/gnututorial.htm

Best regards,

Tim
