I would guess that Intel is better from a performance
standpoint, but MSVC would be better for us with respect
to debugging any problems.

Most excellent for those of us using MS tools.

Thanks a lot for the offer, Øystein. I will get that list
together. In the meantime we may try to build a DLL in MSVC.
(We have a DLL built using MinGW, but we are getting strange
errors when we try to use it, calling it from a MS SQLServer
extended stored procedure.)
