[Bug-gnubg] Edit mode bug

I am finally able to reproduce the problem with the editing mode that I
reported before:

1) Click on "New" button and start a game with Player Settings set to "GNU
Backgammon vs. Human"
2) During one of GNU's turns, click on the "Stop" button BEFORE GNU finishes
3) Modify checker positions
4) Click right side of board to bring up dice picker window for human player

If your results match mine, the checker position you set up will be lost.
