From an email from Nardy a long while ago about multiple sounds not
working well on windows:

PlaySound ( filename, NULL, SND_FILENAME | SND_ASYNC );
I've checked in a fix to avoid one sound stopping any playing sound. It
will play a sound and continue if no sound is playing, or wait until the
current sound has finished and then play the sound and continue.
Also the WaitSound function now works on windows, so it won't exit until
the exit sound has finished.
There seems to be 2 sound schemes, the one's in cvs and some on nardy's
site. The second lot worked fine.
I had to edit the cvs sounds to remove blank sound at the end of the
files. I also shortened the roll.wav file (as this was slowing things
down). The gameover.wav sound file appears to be distorted.
Which sounds do people use?
