Sounds to me like you're doing just fine. You stopped a session, saved
it, and then resumed it. Go for it.

Okay, I tried the Ctrl-C thing during Win98 session and gnubg didn't
respond to it. Also, you can't open File/Command while session is
active.
I interrupted the session again using the 'Stop' button and resumed ok
during the same session using File/Command/"Play".
Interrupted the session again using the 'Stop' button, saved .sgf to HD,
quit gnubg, restarted, reloaded session. This time I was able to resume
using File/Command/"Play". Maybe because I did it during original
session???
Feels like I'm grasping for straws, so I'll just feel foolish and wait
to hear what you have to suggest.
