Then my memory is playing tricks on me. I seem to remember gnubg-no-gui stating 
a new line when a new trial started. Ah! That was probably before the code was 
changed to do parallel trials of each position, rather than run each to 
conclusion before starting the next one.

That would be fine for what I'm doing. I'm only rolling out single positions 
from the Analyse...Rollout menu option. I'm not using the analysis. (But I 
would if there was a way of rolling out the initial position, since it would 
allow me to save & extend rollouts.)
