Hmm - neither the most recent versions nor the CVS version with
ChangeLog 1.1373 has any problem with importing this .mat file under
Linux. This suggests that it's related to Window or gtk1.x. I don't
have a Windows environment in which to test this, so it will have to
be someone else in the development team to do this.
