I've been noticing the increasingly erratic arrival of emails from the list lately, but hadn't bothered to check the headers. But I finally got around to it this evening and discovered that a posting from Oystein took over 17 hours to make it from arriving at gnu.org to being resent to the mailing list.
Then it was rather quick. :( Some mails from Joern took much more than 24 hours. I've checked a few more headers, this seems to be standard.
This is very annoying.
I suspect this is the Sobig virus, as mailing list hosts are likely to be among the hardest hit, but I almost wonder if we need to consider moving it away - perhaps to gnubg.org or something?
What influence do we have on the mailing list? I believe only Gary (Joern, too?) had access.
