I've already started, using po/gnubg.pot as a starting file, and saving translations to po/fr.po.
I'm using kbabel to edit po/fr.po.In my working directory, I've manually modified po/Makefile to add new targets fr.po, fr.gmo and fr.mo; maybe the proper way was to add "fr" to po/LINGUAS and re-run automake? I think it's best if you modifiy po/Makefile and create the new "empty" po/fr.po file; I'll commit my po/fr.po later.
