Hi,

This is to announce that the 2nd version of the tutorial is out at
Backgammon Galore! At http://www.bkgm.com/gnu/AllAboutGNU.html. It is
revised and considerably expanded and has gone from 26 pages to 43. Main
changes are:

- Improved feature list
- Added mention for people with FreeType problems. This has been updated
to take into account the new Installation archive at Oystein's site BTW
- Updated diagrams everywhere, and reworked to minimize size. The large
Temp Map pic is only 7k for example.
- More on player settings such as Move Filters
- Holger's destination move highlight
- Human vs. human play/manual game entry as suggested by Nardy
- Sho's Temperature Map.
- Step-by-step instructions to import and analyze from FIBS, GG, and TMG
- Separate mention of Windows Clipboard export options
- Info on GNU and Snowie grades
- Coverage of Show button and Temp Map button in Annotation window
- Vastly expanded section on rollouts covering ALL options available
plus exposure of results and 3 suggested settings.
- Added tip in Setup area to explain about Pos ID and Match ID.

That's pretty much it. Please share any comments, ommissions or glaring
mistakes you may find. Many thanks to Tom Keith for the HTML conversion.
I'll be sending an up-to-date PDF file to Nardy shortly.

                                                           Albert
