You should have write access to to CVS repository. Do you know how to use cvs?I've started editing the gnubg.texi file. At this stage I'm not adding anything new, just tightening up the English: removing unnecessary words, avoiding overly technical jargon, correcting grammar. I'm not changing any words which are node labels, and not touching any texinfo coding. As I complete versions how do I upload it? Or who do I send it to?
At first you should create an account at Savannah. http://savannah.gnu.org/ When you've done that we will give you write access to the cvs.
I don't know that text editor. If you can find a checking tool, or Textutils and Texinfo for Mac, I think you should download and use it.I'm editing it with BBEdit, a text editor mainly designed for HTML (set to UNIX for line returns), should I download something for checking that there are no texinfo errors?
