NEW: Re: What program gives u EPC values ?

I wrote that program that Paul gave you, Gregg. I recognized the output from
good ol' brd.exe, which I no longer have installed anywhere. :-)

Later versions of Trice's BearoffQuizmaster also give EPCs. I think Heinrich's
BOINQ just gave mean rolls to bearoff, which can be converted to EPCs.

And now I think gnubg gives EPCs. That's probably the best choice for most
people.

--------

I couldn't find it displayed anywhere. The most obvious places to look are
Analyse...One chequer race, and Analyse...Evaluation.

If it doesn't already exist, it should be easy to calculate the epc and the
wastage.

epc = average rolls to bearoff * 8.something
wastage = epc - pip count

I suppose all the functions are there for GnuBg to do something akin to
BearoffQuizmaster, taking positions from the 1 or 2 sided databases and asking
about the cube action.
