Start gnubg.

Select File->New->Game. If you are the first player, make any valid
move and allow gnubg to make its move. Then go to step 2

If you want to roll this out in a match setting, do Select
File->New->Match. Set the match length to the correct value.  If you
are the first player, make any valid move and allow gnubg to make its

Step 2.
At this point, it's your move and the dice haven't been rolled yet.
Press the edit button on the toolbar. Arrange the chequers so that the
first two moves have been made (your 24-16, gnubg's 8-5, 6-5). You
move chequers around as follows:

  The left mouse button always acts on gnubg's chequers, the right
  button always acts on yours.

  You can take chequers off a point by clicking the appropriate mouse
  button on the topmost chequer you want to keep - for example, if
  gnubg now has 4 chequers on its 8 point, whereas you want it to have
  two, then left click on the second chequer from the bottom of
  gnubg's 8 point. The top two chequers will move to the bearoff tray.

  You can clear all the chequers from a point by clicking on the edge
  of the board with either mouse button.

  You can move a chequer from the bearoff tray to a point by placing
  the mouse pointer where the top chequer on that point should be and
  right (for your chequers) or left (for gnubg's chequers). That
  number of chequers will be moved from the bearoff tray to the
  current point.

  It's sometimes easier to simply clear the entire board and put the
  chequers back. In that case, put the mouse pointer in the bearoff
  tray and click with either button. All the chequers will be removed
  from the board to the bearoff tray. Then you just go along the
  points, left and right clicking at the appropriate places to fill in
  the points.

  You can also put chequers on the bar - left click just above the
  cube to put a gnubg chequer on the bar, hold the button down and
  slide upwards to add more (although I can't find how to get more
  than 3 on the bar).

  You can use Game->Set Cube, Game->Set Turn and Game->Set Dice to set
  up anything else you want.

Step 3 - IMPORTANT

  Unclick the edit button on the toolbar.

  In the postition ID window you should see "sGfwATDgc/ARIA" for the
  move you want to roll out. This is an encoding for the position you
  were talking about:
