It's easy:
All you have to do to recover from your accident is to select from the menu
"Game/Set Turn/ GNU (or whatever you call the computer player)". GNUBg will
accept your post-move position and give you the message 'GNU is now on
roll'. Click on the "play" radio-button (or select "Game/Play computer
turn") to resume your game with the computer rolling and play continuing
normally from there.
