I'd recommend that those who need to do so either mail a PGP key or a
pointer to where one can be obtained. I simply do not like sending
anything like this in clear text e-mails, particularly should any of
the people involved be using a large scale POP3 service (hotmail/yahoo
etc.) I assume that gnupg is available as a Windows binary, I don't
know about things like pgp itself.

I also highly recommend, if you are giving anyone shell accounts, that
you only use ssh access and scp/sftp for file transfers. Putty is
widely available for Windows and works well with this. Of course if
the host itself is an XP or Win2k machine, I have no idea what the
options are.
