Make changes from doc/ into met/ and then into po/. There the message
occurs.
Without doing an "aclocal" and "autoconf" before it complains about
missing macros in "configure.in: 172 ... AM_PATH_GTK .. and 266:
AM_GNU_GETTEXT ... and tells me something about a missing aclocal-1.6
which is in fact installed.
