It's a synonym for gammon price.

The gammon values/gammon prices reported are the internal representation
of gammon prices. With the definition gnubg uses you can calculate
normalised equity as
E = 2 * w - 1
+ wg * gammon price (wg) - lg * gammon price (lg)
+ wbg * gammon price (wbg) - lbg * gammon price (lbg)
with the "usual" definition the formula would be
E = 2 * w - 1
+ 0.5 * wg * gammon price (wg) - 0.5 * lg * gammon price (lg)
+ wbg * ( 0.5 * ( gammon price (wbg) - gammon price (wg) )
- wbg * ( 0.5 * ( gammon price (lbg) - gammon price (lg) )
which is slightly more complicated. So the internal gammon price is
defined as it is purely for convinience.
I think you're the first person to complain about this. I've no problem
changing the reported gammon prices in the theory widget unless someone
can present good arguments against doing it :-)
