I'm not sure I understand your question.

>From the screenshot it appears that you've moved 24/18 with the 6 and
you haven't moved the 5 yet. gnubg shows that you've so far moved
"24/18". It's shown in red as the move is incomplete --- you'll not be
allowed to lift the dice.
