When attempting to process the attached file with "xgettext -L tcl bug.tcl",
xgettext seems to run forever.
$ od -tx1z bug.tcl
0000000 5b 2c 20 5d 09 7a 0a >[, ].z.<
The tab before the 'z' seems to be relevant, without it xgettext completes in a
timely fashion.
This is a minimal file that exhibits the problem. The original file is
http://unpy.net/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/axis/tcl/axis.nf?rev=1.32&content-type=text/vnd.viewcvs-markup
by using 'head' and 'tail' I found the line that caused the lockup behavior.
I realize there may be other problems with this file before I can use xgettext
on it, but this is really a killer.
I don't read this list, so I'd appreciate a copy of any replies.
