Using medieval torture algorithms, I've finally made Paolo to state that the
only true answer is "xxxfoo".  His only justification was that his recent
experience debugging the regex matcher caused his brain to see regex bugs
everywhere, even if they had already been corrected.  So, using sed 4.0.8,
which does include the bugfixes in the latest CVS, should fix your problem.
