Problem with configure for grepp-2.5 ??

I am trying to build grep on Solaris 2.5 system.

I get a test error message saying argument expected when it tried to test if
it could do soft links.

What I found was that in my case I have put /usr/ucb in my path because I
like those utils rather then learn all the Solaris versions.


That "test" program does no understand the -L switch.


Now I do have a gnu "test" available but farther in my path. I also have it
named as gtest.

Perhaps there is a way to "test" "test" to make sure it works.

Or a warning and abort

Or ??

It works fine on Solaris 8
