Thanks. But noone has reported a compilation failure for gettext on
such systems, since the code using utime() is in place - nearly a year
ago.  Therefore I don't think such old systems are worth bothering
about (except for 'gzip' of course - this is a program sysadmins like
to install even on the oldest Sun3).
