build problem with diffutils-2.8.1

Howdy,

I'm building diffutils on my solaris 9 system with a
3.2.1 version of gcc and have specified
"--without-included-regex" in my config options. THis
causes an error message to appear as follows:

analyze.c: In function `diff_2_files':
analyze.c:952: invalid use of undefined type `struct
re_pattern_buffer

When I remove this option, the build succeeds.

Am I doing something wrong?
