Segfaults with gtar-1.3.21

Dear mainainers,

I was used to tar-1.3.17 bundled with my RH 6.2 GNU/Linux system and
just wanted to test 1.3.20 which has some fixes. I compiled it without
special options, and it worked quite well, segfaulting once or twice.
I then installed 1.3.21 today, but it segfaults every time I eXtract
an archive. It seems to happen just after a directory has been
extracted. Test mode works fine and displays the whole content of
archives. The problem arises with .tar.gz and .tar archives.

So this 21 seems less stable than 20 and the all two doesn't seem
really usable as is 17, with which I never had any problem.
