I get the same error with GNU ld version 2.11.90.0.27
(with BFD 2.11.90.0.27). It should be noted that in order
to link at all, Oracle requires the installation of a bunch
of stub libraries. This AFAIK is because Oracle was
originally compiled/linked against glibc 2.1. I'm trying
to install it on a glibc 2.2 system (debian, unstable).
