Dear Nicole,
thanks for your bug report. Could you give us some more details about
the versions (PSPP + MacOS) you use?
Could you cook the problem down to a small example
and send the exact syntax you use? If you are using gui, can you exactly
describe what you do?
When I try to rename a variable via the gui, then it works. I entered
three variables (hallo, fred, go) in the variable view. The I clicked
on the first variable named „hallo“.
Then I typed „halihalo“ and the changed variable name also appeared in the
data window.
