Follow-up Comment #2, bug #15636 (project pspp):
I think there are two obstacles. One is time and expertise. The other is how
to be quite sure that it works as per the spss product. If it doesn't people
will complain - even if there are valid reasons why our implementation might
give different results.
We need to do this carefully and have someone to test it at each step.
