Follow-up Comment #1, bug #33083 (project pspp):
In IRC, jmd commented that commit b54a5702b6200871c8278a55d37a87e924f04eb1 is
the problem:
blp: Do you know why that commit causes the problem?
jmd: gl/gettext.h expects ENABLE_NLS to be 1
jmd: But we're not defining it.
blp: It looks like the gettext module is supposed to do that.
blp: It isn't. I don't see why, yet.
blp: In fact I don't even see gettext.m4 in my build dir. That's odd.
blp: Oh, it's in aclocal.m4. Must be picking it up from the system somehow.
