Hi Nikolaj,

For various reasons, using third party statistical algorithms in PSPP is
rarely possible, without compromising the goals of the project. I think there
is a FAQ entry which talks about this.

Thanks for your feedback.

     Hi,

I work as a researcher statistician, use R and SPSS frequently (and am more
and more dissatisfied with the lack of speed since spss decided to program
their interface in java). When I read your need for source code for
standard
statistical methods like poisson and logistic regression, the
     following sprang to my mind.
Transition data analysis is a quite general purpose gnu statistical
analysis
program, with many types of analysis and its c-source is available under
the
     gpl (see: http://www.stat.ruhr-uni-bochum.de/tda.html).
Have you ever considered using their source code for PSPP? This would in my
opinion speed up the development of pspp enormously. Or am I missing
     something?

Greetings and succes with your project (very nice interface already),

     Nikolaj
