     Follow-up Comment #6, bug #12789 (project pspp):

     address@hidden:~/pspp/src/expressions$ make operations.h
     /usr/bin/perl -I . operations.h.pl -o operations.h -i ./operations.def
     address@hidden:~/pspp/src/expressions$ grep atom_type operations.h

This would seem to be the place where things are going wrong.

atom_type should be defined as an enum in operations.h --- I don't
know why you're not getting that. Probably something to do with perl
behaving differently between versions.

What version of perl do you have ?
What exactly does operations.h contain ?

I guess you'll have to work through operations.h.pl to find out why
it's not properly generating operations.h

Hope this helps.
