Sorry, I did not mean to insult you. You have helped me with gettext and
libiconv on multiple occasions. Apologies for this misunderstandable
sentence.

What I meant to say is that you are apparently caring more about the mingw
system than I do. I spent lots of time ensuring that libiconv builds out of
the box on mingw. Things like a version identification of the DLLs are
somewhat a luxury to me. You care more about it than I do. You are welcome
to investigate how to realize this and submit a patch - but please don't
expect me to implement this.
