I'm afraid this wouldn't be overly helpful.  We'd need to say at least
what "deterministically" means in this context and in which cases I
would want to use this option.  And we should specify the new semantics
of "previous" - earlier it referred to a window that showed _this_
buffer already, now it also refers to a window that was previously used
for showing _any_ buffer.
