I guess the first screenshot is of an archived outgoing article, and the
second screenshot is of the same article retrieved by nntp.
I am questioning that Gnus is doing something wrong here, because the
nntp-server in question is one I have implemented, and I think it's more
likely that my nntp-server doesn't handle timezones/follow the spec
correctly than Gnus being at fault.
