(This was six years ago.)

I tried this with Emacs 28 now (on Debian bullseye), and valgrind did
not output this warning.  (This is with a lucid build.)  However,
looking at the x11 bug tracker, there doesn't seem to have been any
progress there:

So are you still seeing this problem?
