> Are explicitly created windows treated any differently than explicitly > created windows? Now that's a difficult question ... One thing `display-buffer' sets up is the 'quit-restore' window parameter which determines the future behavior of `quit-window'. C-x 2 and C-x 3 don't do that. martin
