bug#17440: .xsession-errors 82gigs and growing.

I downloaded and built emacs 24.4.50.21 from trunk this morning and
used it whilst writing a latex document, but was shocked to learn
that something had eaten 82gigs of my hard-drive at teatime! I
eventually tracked it down to ~/.xsession-errors which was 82gigs in
size. I had a very quick look at it before deleting it and it seemed
to be mainly emacs related, but unfortunately its all gone now and I
didn't think to make a copy of any of it, sorry.
