Consider this situation:
1. start emacs with: emacs -Q /tmp/x.txt
2. insert some text, e.g. an x, so that the buffer is marked as modified
3. press C-x C-v
4. in the minibuffer appears the question:
Find alternate file: /tmp/x.txt
5. Press return
6. In the minibuffer appears the question:
Buffer x.txt is modified; save it first? (yes or no)
7. Answer no
8. In the minibuffer appears the question:
Kill and replace the buffer without saving it? (yes or no)
9. Answer yes
The question in 8. is annoying given that in 6. the answer was already
"no". It's also irritating that the answer in 7. has to be "no" while
the answer in 9. needs to be "yes".
