Hi Thierry,

please try the latest Emacs dev branch.  If it still doesn't work let me
know.  The entry would be

machine mail.google.com:443 port https login xx password xx

as you showed.  If you could test it, I'd appreciate it.  It worked for
me, as

(auth-source-search :max 1 :host "mail.google.com:443" :protocol "https")

with the changes I committed this weekend.
