I don't find a reference to the base64 program in
tramp-remote-coding-commands. Is there a reason for this?

In GNU Emacs 23.0.90.1 (i486-pc-linux-gnu, GTK+ Version 2.12.12)
of 2009-02-22 on elegiac, modified by Debian
