In recent Emacs, an Emacs terminal ('term' command) has color capability.
In older Emacs, it does not. There may be other differences. But both
use the terminfo name (TERM) "eterm." This isn't how Curses is supposed
to work; the current eterm should be renamed.

In the standard Emacs install, it doesn't matter because 'term' runs with
a private terminfo database (which contains only 'eterm') that is part of
the particular Emacs installation. But there are lots of reasons someone
might want to configure Emacs differently and there are things (people,
for example) besides Ncurses that might look at the TERM value.

Note that Ncurses comes with a definition for 'eterm'. It's for the old
one.
