Re: no binding to suspend a compilation

     When we hit C-h m in the *compilation* buffer, we don't get the tidy
     table of keystrokes, just this English blurb about them.

Well, if there were, they wouldn't be missing if you automatically
generated the table,

Well, OK, I thus hit C-h b, and low and behold:
