That would be a second impression, I was talking about first
impressions of a supposed beginning user ... 
But wait, I remember that in school we were taught to do

and being that emacs is an editor, many users first impression might
well be when using a filename...

Well the point is that you did something wrong and now you regret it.
In the future you will not be as careless. [Major joke here.  I am
making a major joke.]

OK, but only if user-experience-level is less than 'black-belt [or
me, 'yellow-belly] as my computer just plods along.

By the way, how about different _default_ background colors if one
root or if one is not.  Wait, how about different background colors
depending on a hash of the username: Look Marge, my GNU Emacs is a
cool crystal blue, while yours is a striking khaki [hey, no khaki?
implement it!]  Note: don't go changing these two users colors each
day, [unless they change their usernames...]

[wow, really out done myself with that brilliant idea]

By the way what happens with posters like "Dan Jacobson": 1. they burn
out?  2. the feel the need for their own emacs and found yemacs?
3. they stop making jokes?  4. they accidentally get in an argument
with another anonymous poster that they late realize is themselves?
