Please, God, spare us from such "enchancements".
One of the reasons I run "emacs -nw" is to get away from such unwanted
interactions (as well as various ugly misformattings). I still curse
the day that someone decided that the Emacs kill ring should interface
(i.e., interfere) with the X cut buffer. To make the option that says
"Don't interface with the windowing system," actually start interfacing
with the window system, seems revolting.
